Gutter repair in Ponte Vedra and Ponte Vedra Beach
Big roofs, live oaks, salt air and HOAs that notice a sagging gutter from the street. Ponte Vedra homes need stainless hardware, 6-inch runs and guards that handle oak catkins, and we bring all three.
Gutters in Ponte Vedra
Ponte Vedra runs from the oceanfront on A1A through Sawgrass, Marsh Landing and Old Ponte Vedra, west across the Intracoastal to Palm Valley and the older parts of Nocatee, and everything about it is harder on gutters than the average Jacksonville lot. The houses are large and mostly two-story, so a single back-wall run can be collecting 1,200 square feet of roof. The oaks along the golf-course streets are mature, and live oak drops small leaves and heavy catkins from February through April that mat in any gutter. And the closer you get to the beach, the faster ordinary hardware corrodes.
That last one is the thing most crews get wrong here. Zinc-plated screws and straps rust through in a few years in salt air. The gutter itself is aluminum and fine; it is the fasteners that let go, and the run ends up hanging after a nor'easter. Every Ponte Vedra job we do gets stainless steel screws and straps, and on oceanfront homes we use stainless hangers as well.
The Ponte Vedra jobs we see most
Re-hanging runs where the hardware rusted. The gutter is intact, the straps and screws are gone. A re-hang with stainless hangers every 18–24 inches, $150–$300 per run. Gutter repair Ponte Vedra homeowners call about after a windy week is usually this.
Undersized builder gutters on 1990s–2010s homes. Sawgrass Players Club, Marsh Landing and the newer Nocatee neighborhoods have a lot of 5-inch gutters with 2x3 downspouts under big roofs. Overflow at the far corner of the back wall in every afternoon storm. A second 3x4 downspout or a 6-inch run on that wall solves it.
Catkin clogs under the oaks. Old Ponte Vedra and the streets around the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club have the biggest oaks and the most spring clogs. Stainless micro-mesh guards, hosed off once in April, end the twice-a-year cleaning cycle.
Full replacement of 1980s sectional aluminum. Seams every 10 feet, most of them weeping, on homes that are due for it anyway. Seamless .032 aluminum in a day, with stainless fasteners, $10–$17 per foot here because of the hardware.

HOA and color matching
Most Ponte Vedra communities have architectural review for exterior changes. We match the fascia or trim from the manufacturer's color chart and can send the spec sheet to the ARC ahead of the job. Sawgrass and Marsh Landing both ask for it routinely; it has never held up a start date.
Pricing in Ponte Vedra
Repairs $150–$600. Seamless installation $10–$17 per foot with stainless hardware, so a two-story home with 240 feet of gutter and six downspouts is typically $2,800–$4,200. Cleaning $120–$300 by house size. The cost page has the full breakdown. If you are comparing a gutter estimate from another company, ask whether the fasteners are stainless; if the answer is no, the price is not comparable.

Do you charge extra to come to Ponte Vedra?
No. Ponte Vedra and the rest of St. Johns County are inside the normal service area. The only price difference from a Jacksonville job is the stainless steel hardware we use near the ocean, which adds roughly a dollar a foot and is the reason the gutters stay on the house.
Why did my gutters come loose but not the gutter itself?
Salt air. Zinc-plated screws and straps corrode in a few years within a mile or two of the beach, while the aluminum gutter is unaffected. The fix is a re-hang with stainless hangers and screws, usually $150–$300 per run, and it does not need to happen again.
Can you match the color our ARC requires?
Yes. We carry the manufacturer's chart of more than 25 baked-on finishes, match to the trim or fascia, and send the spec sheet to your architectural committee before the install date.
